Ingredients
- 1-2 lbs. of stew meat (cut up roast or steak may be used)
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cans of mixed vegetables (I use veg-all), drained
- 2 cans of tomato sauce (15 oz. each)
- seasonings
Instructions
- Cut meat into bite size pieces, season, and brown with onions and butter.
- Add vegetables and tomato sauce. Mix well.
- Put in crockpot and let cook all day. I also use leftover vegetables and add them to the pot.
- If soup is too thick, add a little water to thin.
- The longer it cooks the better. Serve with baking powder biscuits.
