Vegetable Soup

Ingredients

  • 1-2 lbs. of stew meat (cut up roast or steak may be used)
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cans of mixed vegetables (I use veg-all), drained
  • 2 cans of tomato sauce (15 oz. each)
  • seasonings

Instructions

  1. Cut meat into bite size pieces, season, and brown with onions and butter.
  2. Add vegetables and tomato sauce. Mix well.
  3. Put in crockpot and let cook all day. I also use leftover vegetables and add them to the pot.
  4. If soup is too thick, add a little water to thin.
  5. The longer it cooks the better. Serve with baking powder biscuits.
