Ingredients
- 3 cups of sugar
- 2/3 cup of Hershey Cocoa
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 cups of milk (evaporated)
- 1 tsp. of vanilla
- Chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Combine dry ingredients in a heavy saucepan.
- Stir in milk and bring to a bubbling boil on medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Cook to 234 degrees or soft ball stage.
- Remove from heat and add vanilla.
- Beat until fudge thickens and loses some of its gloss.
- Quickly spread into a lightly buttered pan.
- Chopped walnuts are optional.
