
Ingredients
- 6 whole dove or 4 whole quail (remember to pluck and wash)
- Salt & pepper
- 1 cup flour
- 1 egg
- Cooking oil
Instructions
- Clean and wash whole birds.
- Mix 1 cup flour, 1 egg, and milk into a smooth batter.
- Roll birds in batter and then in dry flour.
- Fry in hot deep fat at approx. 350-375 degrees until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Serve with fries or onion rings and a large salad.
