
Ingredients
- 1 pkg. chicken breast tenders
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 Tbs. oil
- 6 mushrooms, chopped
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 Tbs. spicy mustard
- 2 Tbs. flour
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Set oven to 350 degrees.
- Cut chicken into bite-size pieces. Heat oil in a pan, fry until the onions are soft and chicken is lightly browned. Remove chicken and onion and place in an ovenproof dish. Keep warm.
- Reserve the oil and juices in the pan. Add the flour to the remaining juices in the pan and milk. Keep stirring constantly until the sauce has thickened.
- Add the cheese and mustard. Stir until the cheese has melted.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour sauce over the chicken. Bake for 45 minutes.
