Ingredients
- 1 cup of butter
- 1/8 tsp. of salt
- 2 1/4 cups of brown sugar
- 1 cup of light corn syrup
- 1 14 oz. can of Eagle Brand milk
- 1 tsp. of vanilla
Instructions
- In sauce pan melt butter. Stir in sugar and salt. Add syrup and mix well.
- Add milk; stir constantly, continue stirring and cook to 234 degrees on candy thermometer.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
- Pour into 11x7 inch buttered pan.
- When cool, cut into squares.
- Wrap in waxed paper squares. Use scissors or a pizza cutter and you have to tape the waxed paper closed.
