Banana Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 large container of Cool Whip, thawed (NOT lite or fat free)
  • 1 - 5.1 oz box of INSTANT vanilla pudding (the LARGE size box. Make sure it says INSTANT)
  • 1 & 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 2 cups milk (do NOT use the follow package instructions)
  • 1 - 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 - 11 oz box Nilla wafers
  • 4-5 ripe bananas

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine pudding ingredients.
  2. Whisk until it's completely incorporated.
  3. Arrange a single layer of Nilla wafers on the bottom of a large tray/bowl.
  4. Top the wafers with a layer of sliced bananas.
  5. Next add a layer of pudding.
  6. Repeat this process 2-3 times (until you have reached the top of the tray).
  7. Top the pudding with a sprinkling of Nilla wafer crumbs.
  8. Cover with plastic wrap or foil and refrigerate at least 4 hours or over night.

Notes

A classic Southern-style dessert with layers of vanilla pudding, fresh bananas, and Nilla wafers. Must be refrigerated for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
